YOU ARE MORE THAN A FATHER

YOU ARE MORE THAN A FATHER

    Destiny has saddled me!

    An inevitable responsibilities

    To sojourn to an unknown

What an adventure!- the survival is for the fittest

    Devourers are catalogue

    With mouth widely opened

To swallow and silent the victim

The trumpet has blown- phew! Go.

    To wreck into foundation

    The Jericho of the victim

As the victim sky-rocketed become victor

    What a break through, into:

    Prosperity, happiness, maturity

    Like an off-shore win

The thought of you filled the earth and heaven

To partake in the accomplishment in the ascendency

Some father shrink away as they have eye not seeing

In preparing their children for challenges

Yours an exception because you have lifted my poor soul

As you prepared me against any wind of change

To the right and left side of life

The thought of you is endless

Nigerians are so talented. I love the message you portray in this poem. Nigeria, I keep coming back to Nigeria. Simply no place like Nigeria. Nigeria I am coming back. I try the ride in Okada. Dated a girl in Apapa. Yes, I enjoyed my stay in Nigeria. I love the people of Nigeria. You have the gift. Keep it up! Cheers!
