That's me...

Poem Commentary

May you lift your eyes from darkness to see that love never dies.

That's me...

I'm the flow of the river, the crisp of the morning breeze.

The sparkle in a ray of sun, in every breath you breathe.
I've gone nowhere, I'm everywhere; I'm the smell of the morning dew.
That's me in the beat of the music, still dancing through life with you.
I'm with you now and always, no need to say goodbye.
I'm every hug you give and every tear you cry.

Excellent rhythm and rhyme, sometimes less is more. An enjoyable read letting us know our loved ones are never truly gone. They remain a part of us always.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
