    A Day To Remember

    Freedom is not free,unfortunate-
ly some have to die,They've worn
    the uniform with dignity,so we
    may generously continue living
    indefinately.

    I'm talking about our soldiers,
who risk their lives each and
    every day,securing our freedom,
    and living peacefully,day and
    night, and day after day.

    This is not a luxury,but a privilege
    we recieved,pride for their coun-
    try,everyone else should believe.

    So many in this country,care-
lessly speak of those who are
    dead,do they really know what
    they've meant to this country,
    and the unselfishness that
    poured from their bloodshed.

Many have never worn the Red,
White and Blue,if only these peo-
    plecould carry that weapon,and
walk one mile in their shoes.

    Men and women,past and pre-
    sent,have fought pridefully
    hard,enduring all types of
    weather,holding this country
    together.

    Freedom is earned,anti-war PIGS
    take notice,think twice before lay-
ing the flag, your so wanting to burn.

We as many, love and respect the
courage in which you have shown,
our hearts and prayers are with
    you,you will never be alone.

I agree with the message of this poem and feel that those people, who feel like burning the symbol of our freedom should go live in one of the countries where they don't have any rights and can get killed for speaking their minds. We have many blessings and freedoms that were earned for all of us through the bloodshed of our heroes.Thank you for sharing this beautifully inspiring and quite memorable poem.
