a love like mine
life is a journey. it can bring us love, joy, happiness, sadness, and pain. We stand on the precipiece of love and are to afraid to take the leap, afraid of only falling with no one to catch us. So we just stand there letting love and a life of happiness pass us by. We watch as other people take the leap with no fear or doubt wondering why we cant be like them. Time passes and we think we have finally found the one leaping with all our hearts just to crash into the depths of lonliness as the flame flitters out. We guard our hearts so mightly giving little of ourselves afraid of what they might think. So there we stand on the brink of happiness once more. To afraid to try for more. We must stand tall and finally gain the strenth to jump in with all our hearts and give love a chance to finally find us. So take the leap with all your heart, leave doubt behind and u can truly find a love like mine.a love like mine

- you took the words right from my heart this is so true and right on the dot many people go through this everyday and build walls so thick when love is in front of them the miss out on it because they are afriad to leap and take a chance this is like a part of me thanks for writing it love the flow and the heart felt words

- very nice. the message was profound, but it would have been nice with a different format. your grammar and punctuation were tight, but this is definetely a couple of times read. this was excellent. great job.

- the philosphy behind the subject is true. i do like that u showed all the colors behind the painting of love. what i do wish is that u made this poem unique with a melody but it was still good.
