Butterfly Dreams

I wish I was a Butterfly - I'd surely fly away.
I'd leave these prison doors behind no longer would I stay.
Out into the sunshine into the fresh air I would sail.
High into the clouds I'd go. I'd flee this earthly hell!
As I flew along my way, I'd sing and I'd rejoice.
I'd be so happy to be free from the mass confusion and the noise!
I'd head to the nearest mountain top. I would not pause along the way.
For freedom would be calling me and - I would not delay!
When I'd reached the mountain top - there I'd stop to rest.
Id reflect upon the recent times. I'd know I'd done my best.
I'd remember how I used to pray each and every day.
That God would send a miracle and set me free someway.
But, as I sat I'd realize, the miracles been received;
He sent his son to earth - to die for you and me.
He gave me life everlasting. He set me free from sin.
I may be in prison, but I still have peace within!
So if I can't be a butterfly, I'll find freedom in his word.
When the noise is too much for me - that is where I'll go.
