for the angels have fallen

Heaven has become filled with darkness

the gates were scorched with fire

dark soldiers have invaded this holy realm

war has turned love into hate

our father has fallen to one he once banished.

subjecting themselves to the darkness of their own hearts

given in to temptation

they pulled down the sun

and a placed the moon as their only light

transforming their souls into the darkness that lies within

allowing Satan’s servants to rise to earth

forcing us to fall from grace

leaving a crack in the sky to tear away the world’s beauty

the love that we crave

and the harmony that we desire

madness consumed our souls

we rip the wings of a butterfly

fight the ones we once loved

harm the ones closest to us

evil has become our salvation
