    FULLY SUBMERGED?

    The fight to define this sacred act.
    Whether to sprinkle with Holy Water?
    Or to hold nose, pray, and lean him back?

    As his face becomes fully submerged,
    With water shielding him from his unholy past.
    A new man in Christ shall emerge,
    As he rises from that watery blast.

    Did that water save him?
    I heard the Elders say.
    Or, was it the Blood that Jesus Shed,
    For those sins that he could not pay?

    Another Night, A different convert.
    Same faith,
    Same concern.

    For what it’s worth:

    The fight to define this sacred act.
    Whether to sprinkle with Holy Water?
    Or to hold nose, pray, and lean him back?

    Orson I just can't wait for the weekend to read your poetry. You never dissapoint. This has so much meaning and is so imspirational yet there is also no disapointment when we realize who shed that blood for us.
