    Graveyard Sorrow

    The mist swirls all around me

    On this cold November night.

    I'm lonely in this graveyard -

    No living soul in sight.

     

    I see the ghosts of memories

    Too painful now to bear.

    They gather all around me

    And into my soul they tear.

     

    I feel my spirit sinking,

    Into a black abyss.

    The deads perfect companion,

    I'll stay forever like this.

     

    I hang my head in sorrow

    As the dark envelops me.

    My body here shall stay,

    Though my spirit shall be free.

     

    I scream in the dark of the graveyard,

    A scream for a memory.

    Each scream rips into my heart,

    Each scream kills part of me.

     

    Alone here with my thoughts,

    Half-dead I sit and weep.

    Alone here for eternity,

    The darkness cuts me deep.
