    Hurricane

Like doves trying to fly in
    a hurricane,
    My heart tries to forget
    about you.
    They slowly drift closer to
    the ground,
    As my mind keeps a
    mental picture of you.
    They struggle so hard they
    wear themselves out,
    I'm such a wreck I
    Dont eat or sleep.
    They push against the storm
    trying to survive,
And I try and push all my
    love deeper inside my body.
    They fall back down,
    while I fall back into
    Depression.
    They finally realize defeat
    and die peacefully,
    I finally realize i'll die
    without you.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
