    I'm Satisfied with Thee

Oh how excellent is thy loving kindness, Oh my gracious God,

Thou hast saved me from the wicked path that once my feet did trod.

I put my trust in thee Oh Lord, and under the shadow of thy wings,

My heart will always sing to thee, and there your praises ring.

My heart with thee is satisfied, I drink of pleasures evermore,

And always will I trust in thee and with eagles I will soar.

Thy mercy falls from heaven and the clouds thy faithfulness share,

And Oh I long to know thee more my Savior, Lord so fair.

In thee I find a fountain of life that flows so rich and  free,

And the light that thou hast shown me, draws me closer unto thee.

Thy mountains speak of righteousness and thy judgments oh so deep,

In thee my soul can be preserved, and upon mountains I can leap!

I find my heart delighting in the abundance of thy peace,

And at thy altar I pray my Lord that you will find me meek.

Order now my steps Lord, that a good man I might be,

And uphold me with thy hand that I might not fall from thee.

And in the time of trouble Lord, please come and strengthen me,

Lord deliver me from evil for I choose to trust in thee.

Consume up all thy enemies, and devour them in smoke,

And cut off all the wicked and the words their mouths once spoke.

Forsake not the righteous ones, nor let their seeds beg for bread,

But let me now come humbly Lord and with thy words be fed.

Forsake not your saints Oh Lord, but preserve them evermore,

And let them roam with hinds feet to the Mountain of the Lord.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.
