Let Israel Dance

Let Israel Dance

Jerusalem, Jerusalem He doth see your tear drops fall,

His ears they love to hear your voice when on Yeshua you do call.

Around your city walls He calmly walks both day and night,

For Yeshua has the “road map” that no man can see or write.

On the quiet shores of Galilee the breath of life He brings,

And there He calls His people, Oh Israel come and sing.

He longs to take you by the hand, His heart says dance with me,

With out stretched arms He’s calling, Oh Israel come and see.

His loving arms will shelter you as He hears you call His name,

With tears of joy He’ll keep you and with Him you’ll know no shame.

As a father loves his children and longs to have them by his side,

So Yeshua loves His people and they will not be denied.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
