    Magic

When the moon is black and does not cast its enchanting glow,
    will you still love me?
Without its shimmering light upon my hair,
    am I still beautiful?
Without the moon's magic to make us drunk with power,
    will we still exist?

I like this poem it is as beautiful as your smile, I think it tells a lot about you and I would turn this poem into a Pop Rock Song about medium speed I think it would be good, since I was and still are producer writer and musician, keep writing a masterpiece grecowong@yahoo.com

It takes power to question the night, and it's magic, and the message is very powerful, and beautiful. My answer would be yes to all three ?s

mystical, dare I say "magic"al? A great read, are you challenging typical poetic imagery? Debasing poetry in a poem? Debasing those who debase poetry? maybe not, but it got me thinking. great write, sincerly!

Thank you for your comments! I find your works very interesting and imaginative. I especially like "Sunrise" I could connect with the character in your poem(feel her pain) It was very beautiful!

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
