I rake the fear from my brow
And see the spirit start to howl
Consumes my thoughts before they're born
I have created a new life form
He thirst for blood to quench his need
On my body he hopes to feed.

Sinking fast into dispair
I reach for thoughts but nothings there
His breath soon chills my soul
Flesh and blood turns so cold
I will not last to see the sun
If his mission is all done

Decay and pain are so strong
Cannot last for very long
Summon the spirit deep inside
Deep in my heart where he resides
A faint warmth grips me now
I begin to fight and growl

Eyes glow with the ultimate one
Flash of light and it is done
The demon burns inch by inch
Till all is left is an awful stinch
My eyes open to the morning light
I've beaten the demon of midnight
