Seeing You With Her

Seeing You With Her

Seeing you with her,

it drives me mad.

I try to hold it back,

but all at once I am so sad.

I messed up a good thing,

I don't know if I'll ever get it back.

My heart hurts so,

and it's not from just a crack.

Shattered into pieces,

I'm numb half the time.

My life has lost,

all of it's reason and rhyme.

Life makes no sense,

to me anymore.

I'll watch it pass me by,

as I lay here on the floor.

I feel so sorry for you. It must have hurt and known that you were the cause of it. I love your poem, it's beautiful and absolutely spews of your pain. It's powerful.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
