A robin sang to me today,A happy song.
A butterfly kissed me today,
A quick passing of wings on the cheek.
A squirrel played with me today,
A game of hide and seek.
Simple things really,
Beautiful none the less.
An uplifting sight.
God spoke to me today,
God held me today.
Through these simple things I felt God today,
Sunshine that soothes and warms.
God's way of giving strength.
Wind in the hair,
Letting you know He is with you.
Rain on your face,
Letting you know He cries with you.
Small everyday things.
God's gifts to show you love.
He speaks everyday but many are too busy to listen.
He cries yet no one asks why.
He shows his love for us yet no one believes.
Take a look around, a real look.
Eyes and hearts open and you will find Him.
I saw God today.
