Wide Open

Falling upwards,
Standing down,
Silently screaming,
I make no sound,

Masks of truth,
Faces of lies,
Years of deception,
Slowly dies…..

Now i can see!
No illusion of light,
My vision so clear,
I gaze in delight,

What once was hidden,
Is now revealed,
Those blackened windows,
No longer sealed,

Thrown wide again,
To let in the breeze,
And blow my troubles,
To the seven seas,

Lol,no but i can see how you made the connection, thanks for reading

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
