    Long Distance

    Kisses
    Pure in nature
    Rain upon untouched skin.
    The world watches, fascinated
By the prospect of true love found at last.
But the two must part with sad eyes.
    Banned from each other by
    Circumstance, they
    Wither.

    Absence
    Increases their
    Passion past the limit.
It reaches past the sky and stars
Into a wonderland they call their own.
The only sound is their beating hearts,
    A peaceful metronome
    Willing their love
    To wait.
