    Please

    Live today for tomorrow’s hope
Beg your life not to elope

Shed some tears for suffered blows
Be thankful your life still flows

    Never reject yourself, be embraced
    By your friends, be encased

    Look ahead towards the light
Forget the past, dark as night

Recall the good, let go of the bad
And through it all, always be glad

    Live your life without fear
Don’t forget those who are near

If you leave with just a sigh
How will I say my last goodbye?

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
