    Poem Commentary

    Hmmmm......look a spider.....

    The Spider's Guild

    The spider's web is delicate,
    made of silver thread
But to whom does she dedicate
    her lovely fragile stead?

Why to the Spider's Guild, of course,
    her hobby, work, and skill,
    Where she dwells with others
    among feelings of goodwill.

And so she spins all through the night
    and also through the day
    To make a lovely spiderweb
taking care not to go astray.

This is cute and a great analogy for everyday life! You do have such good meter and rhyme in portraying your thoughts! Applause Building!

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
