    To Play

    I sit in the silence
    and wonder all day
    what it would be like
    to go out and play

    to forget about the worries
    and all that we do
    to be a kid
    and do something new

    to swing in a swing
    or slide down a slide
    to roll down the windows
    and take a long ride

    to play in the rain
    or lay in the grass
    to watch the clouds
    with all their shapes pass

    just to relax
    and enjoy the day
    and go out and play
