Life is what we make of it
or so that is what we are told
to make lemonade out of lemons
and look for silver linings untold

But what if life has more in store then we know
the ups and the downs
and the treasures waiting to unfold

What if our life is not our life alone
but something for others
to have and to hold

We go through our bad times
so others can stand up
and do whats in their heart
without even a thought

Life is overwhelming at
times with stopping and
pushing at limits until we
can't breathe for only a minute

It is those who are around us
our friends and our foes
who go beyond measures to do
a good deed for all of those

Thanks to them we can keep moving on
through lifes ups and downs
without holding on

They let us see hope and
have faith once again
when life is overwhelming
and times takes a stand.
