    Who I am....

     I am not the person I use to be
    Wondering if she is still inside of me
    My thoughts and dreams are something new
    When I am here with you

    These changes inside of me
    Will not change how you feel about me
    I will never be the exact person that you dream of
    And I wonder if that is enough for you and me

    I care for and love the man I see
    Inside and out I would change nothing I see
    For change is something less important to me
    Just for him to be him and he like me for me

    I wonder what you truely think
    When you look at the whole of me
    To know these things and just to be
    Secure with the whole you and me

    My fears are here just inside my heart
    I don't talk about the feeling in that part
    Walls are still up for the both of us
    Not wanting to let each other know all that we trust

    And so I am not the person I use to be
    I am just me with ALL my imperfections you see
    To be the one who puts that spark in your eyes
    And know that this is all there could be
