    New Poem written this weekend. 6/20/2010

    We Will Be Alright

     We will be alright
    I'll be by your side
    I won't let you down
    But I gotta know
    No matter how things go
    That you will be around.
    But if I should break
    If I should fall away,
    What am I to do
    I need someone to take
    A little of the weight off of me,
    Just as I would do for you.
    You're just the one
    I've been waiting for.
    I'll give you all
    I have to give and more,
    But don't let me fall
    Into the black hole of uncertainty.
    Take a little time
    Let’s get the balance right,
    Give back a little love,
    Give me just enough
    So that I can hang on tight.
    You could be the one
    I love forever.
    I hold you high above it all,
    I know you know
    My love is unconditional
    Despite the pet peeves,
    My heart vocalizes
    We will be all right.
