    another one with the middle age recreation theme

    Almost Lost

     I have wondered why we dress the way we do
    Are we just fools dancing to that different tune
    Trying to hold to a time most have forgotten - lost
    The the folks gather round
    And I look into their eyes
    I understand the answers why

    I spin my yarn's
    And weave tales of old
    Gently filling minds young and old
    Weaving, teaching, dreaming
    I watch their faces
    As they dream of those far away places
    Knights and Kings
    And Lady's in a fine dresses

    I know by their words written
    On paper from the mundane world
    There are some who hear the same tune we dance to
    They carry into their hearts the inspiration
    Of that time nearly forgotten - - almost lost

    Thank your once again for your kind words and gracious vote. I believe almost that if it were not for the public demos that the SCA does, much of the skills and lore that were known back in the middle ages would be gone and totally lost to us not just Almost Lost. Blessed Be
