    Poem Commentary

    So my best friend is leaving in a couple of days to go live at a university. I know it's not that far, but I just don't want her to go. I'm going to miss her so much. I just had to get this out though. I cried the whole time writing this though haha.

    Don't leave

     I am dreading the day that is coming so fast. I really don't want you to leave. I know it's something you have to do and it's important, but I don't want to lose that feeling that I can go to you for anything. I know we said that we are best friends and that no matter what happened, we will always make time for each other. I really want to believe that, but something inside of me just knows that isn't going to happen. I can feel that one of us are going to be way busy to even be able to talk to each other. I know that we are going to grow apart, but I won't hold it against you. I guess when it really is that time, I hope I will be strong enough to let you go. I just hope that that time never comes because I don't think I will ever be strong enough to let you go.
