    Happy birthday Jesus
    Into this world you came
    Born in a manger
    To our guilt and shame
    The angels told the shepherds
    The star warned the kings
    They hid you from Herod
    As each a gift did bring
    God rejoiced in heaven
    At your holy birth
    But we were all clueless
    That gods son had came to earth
    So many years later
    When we learned of your birth
    We had a big party
    And celebrated here on earth
    So happy birthday Jesus
    Thank you that you came
    Now every year we remember you
    And praise your holy name
