    My sweet Rose

     My sweet little rose In God's garden you grew He gave you to me My rose bud so true In a world full of thorns You tried hard to live Each day as you grew Such sweet love that you give My life was complete The day that you came Together we lived In sunshine and rain But the thorns grew to fast And you could not breath They choked all your love Until you had to leave Now I am alone In a world full of pain I melt in the sun And I drowned in the rain I know some day In God's garden above I will find you again My sweet rose of love And there we will live Where thorns cannot go Where sunshine and rain Is all that we know And each day we will feed From God's perfect love And live with him In his garden above
