Life's Path

Life's Path

Pages unfolding in a path through time

Unveiling memories with every word

Shadows fall but cannot change the course

Line by line the story burns a trail

Directions are but a futile blur

Wisdom learned step by step

Take care not to lose a tab or two

For memories serve us well

Tread softly on the path through life

And always write with care.

Nicely stated wisdom laid-out in perfect poetic form—bravo! "Wisdom learned step by step Take care not to lose a tab or two"—perfect!

"Tread Softly, for your treading on my Dreams"-Kinda goes with your words lol Great poem! The picture in my head as I read your words was of the picture you have of a path and a figure at the end of it. Hope you post some new stuff soon and I cant wait to read it!

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
