    MY ILL BLUES
    I  got  the  ill  blues
    Greeting  me  in  darken  hues
    Clouds  cover  my  views
    Is  it  what  I  choose
    Only  seeing   darker  news
    From  brighter  days  gone
    How  did  I  sing   this  song
    Yet  I  continue  to  be
    Held  to  remember
    Lyrics  casting  blue
    Sadness  not  detaching  still
    Although  the  song  sung
    Anger  is  released
    As  shift  goes  from  blue  to  red
    Steam  rises  off  dread
    Now  regret  is  fed
    As  ill  blues  return  fuel
    Burned  thru  action
    Tomorrow  predicts
    Lighter  hues  of  blue  will  rule
    As   ill  blues  remove
    Was  the  malaise  a  distraction
    Or  was  it  a  normal  contraction
    From  another  day’s  elation
    Is  it  a  sign   of  an  eclipse 
    Of  the  cosmic  zodiac  fashion
    Astrologically  speaking
    Or  am  I  overstanding
    on  what  I’m  presently  feeling
    Understanding  not  fully or  completely
    I  shall  give  it  time
    These  ill  blues  of  mine
    Hoping  for  a  rewind  to  happier  times
    Meantime  just  waiting  patiently
    For  Me  to  Be  Full of  the  Blues  Felt
    At  that  time  I’m  sure  these  ill  blues  will  melt
    I  got  the  ill  blues
