    I'm longing for him to be near
    right where i am; in this place; here
    why is it so hard for them to believe
    that this separation makes us grieve

    both of our hearts are breaking
    our love is only in the making
    we long for that wonderful day to be together
    where our love will finally last forever

    he stands there loving me
    so far out of my reach
    and finally when our fingers touch
    we go blind and once again we cant see
