once upon a time, thats how it always begins
happily ever after, thats how it always ends
in a perfect world, where two make one
where its easy to care, and its easy to love

where the pain is gone, no more tears cried
thats where you'll find me, just around the rivers bend
where my fate has led me, the one that i have chosen
for life is what you make it, whether it be joy or pain

I often find myself, wondering why me
when the question is, why not me
there is always pain, always bad times
to let them take over, is not a choice of mine
think about it wisely, for one will truly see
that if you dont give up, theres no limit to what can be
dont be afraid, dont run and hide
put on a smile, and you will surely find
