    Paradox

To hear resonate and believe silent hopes,
to burden heavy and relieve this load to stay afloat,

to embark begin and start again the journey on this plateaued steep,

to envision breade the thought to leap one can hastily crumble atop the heap,

to embrace embody and relinquish self to soulless slumber,

to brace oneself be the victor fall once more tossed asunder,

to seize bleed the seed of soul,

breached integrity mourned and fouled your prize this goal,

tackle temper weather the hardened heart,

ageless love wounded dove crashing upon your pyre vessel now depart,

swallow consume medicated and immune be thy cure,

encased entombed paralyzed butterfly twisted flight dancing for your viewer.

This is my first time reading your work. This poem left me absolutely breathless. This is power stuff. I love what you do with your words to make them flow. I am so glad I found you today and get a change to read work written by a truly talented poet. I can't wait to read more. This blew me away. Excellent.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
