    innocence shed

Youth be gone innocence now shed,
    foolish laughter bite your tongue,
    tears rain blood instead,
    frail femininity forcefully hung.

    Hardened heart shield yourself,
    shameful fears shackle and vice,
lock blame away store it on shelf,
soul tarnished rage never know nice.

    Empty corpse stagger forward,
    sinful plague smother she,
of the other none climb aboard,
infant be torment let them not see.

    Tear torn now pretend again,
taken mistaken not yours to sell,
made now broken start just begin,
spirit harnessed broken left to dwell.

This really took me back to childhood, a place where terrible things happened and had no voice, rather no one to call on..., There is so much hurt and betrayal

Best poem I've read all night. I really like your style, it's very unique and thought provoking. This will surely be marked as 10!

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.
