broken promises
Love spell on me be broken,
fairytales of heart no longer be spoken,
do not wish upon that shooting star,
for dreams and wishes are scattered afar.
Love potion and its falicies do not swollow,
romance novel and all the fables do not follow,
relinquish ur notions of prince charming,
free urself from all magic that leaves ur heart starving.
Cupid's loving Bow shall no longer bend,
sonets and lover's poems can do no more to mend,
unwrap the curse left on the heart,
all that remains are empty feelings since our part.
Aphrodity cover and mask the smile of bliss,
fleeting passion and romance have all gone amiss,
lonely red roses wither and die,
for young lovers...these feelings deny.
