Silence

Silence

The silence is killing me,
So quiet.

I can't hear anything except the
awful silence that overcomes me frequently.

It doesn't bother me when
everyone is yelling,
But then the noise fades to nothing.

It's so quiet,
its killing me inside...

But no one can hardly notice.

Silence reminds us we are meant to be with others to share and enjoy their companionship. I love this poem filled with emotion and the need to be seen. 10 from me.

Poetry is what is lost in translation.
