    The Joy's Of The Caribbean

    TROPICAL FRUITS

     Staring at that tree of ripened mangoes is a treat,
    At my feet they fell bip, bop, like rhythmical heartbeats,
    As the wind howls and toss these trees to and fro,
    These mangoes swing and shiny a kaleidoscope of glows.

    At the middle of spring, you'll see a variet of fruit trees,
    With their sweet aroma and with loads of humming bees,
    When I'm passing by them I am thrown in deepest thoughts,
    As I stare at the radiance that these blessed tree have brought.

    Jamaican jackfruit, watermelon and papaya,
    With colors of a radiant glow and like a brightened fire,
    Custard apple, sweet sop and sour sop too,
    Superior in taste and satisfaction is so true.

    Ackee staring back at me in brilliant red is not new,
    The thought of having it with saltfish laced with onions and breadfruits,
    Man I know its the wisest decision to come down to this grove,
    Yes man its the wisest, they're the best of food to love.
    Just come along my friend, even just to stimulate the imagination,
    For this therapeutic aroma and it's alluring sensation.
