    • My writings are far and fewer between these days. At least I've started working on refining what I post.

    Bridges and Graves

    Have I been building bridges
    For my entire life?
Or have I been digging graves
    In anticipation of the fights?

    The numbers seem to dwindle
And the paths come to an end
Does it take a simple argument
    To forever lose a friend?

In no way have I been righteous
I've simply been out for mine
To connection that have touched me
In no way have I been kind

    Why strain over such works
    Hammer and shovel set aside
    The connections have been broken
And the pain has been applied

some people are just fickle - or fair weather friends p try reading People and their words

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
