    • My writings are far and fewer between these days. At least I've started working on refining what I post.

    True Love and Regret

I remember when I met her
    I was at a friend's house
    We never said a word
But we were working things out

    We never left each other
    For those several hours straight
But I had to go home
Because it was getting kinda late

    My friend brought her by
    On my birthday one year
    That day she was mine
And I grinned from ear to ear

    I was happier those days
Always had a smile on my face
    Looking back I regret
    Selling my first Bass

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
