Perfect Blue Eyes

    • My writings are far and fewer between these days. At least I've started working on refining what I post.

    Perfect Blue Eyes

What I'd do to see her smile
    Perhaps just one last time
    To have another conversation
And look into her bright blue eyes

How can I take back betrayal
When I've betrayed my own heart
    Do bridges ever get rebuilt
Or are they left to rot?

The hatred that I showed her
I know now was out of line
Angry that she'd choose that boy
That's always hurt her over time

    I betray my soul
And took my heart casting it aside
I regret I looked into perfect blue eyes
On the first of the year
And told her to me she has died
