    To My Muse
    I'm writing this to let you know
    I can smile now and I'm okay
    No, I didn't need you here
    I bet I don't cross your mind these days

    The scars of heart you left me with
    Have simply given me reasons to think
    And the memories of emotions left
    Now bleed from me like crimson ink

    The setting sun was beautiful tonight
    Somehow the same though you were gone
    And I still watch the moon's face rise
    And gaze at the heavens until dawn

    Not much has changed without you here
    No, I'm still alone most of my time
    But in case my Muse does care to know
    I'm writing this to say I'm fine
