Deepest Secrets of the Lost Inside

I find myself lost looking for a place to lay my heart
I am in nothing but darkness and fields apart
My sky has crumbled the tears rushing in
The emptiness of beating will soon begin
The hollow waves of wind push to open the doors of fate
But all I can find are the shallow plains, am I too late?

I pray that someone will find me soon in the vast of my mind
The clouds show no light and none seem lined
Hate controls the violence I am forced to hide
And my love is deminished by this I abide
Memories surrounding screaming in my ear
I fall to the surface just to face the fear

I only wish to walk among the few who feel my pain
Those who know the cost and and place no blame
Suffocating in an arrogant bubble the pride walk tall
No matter how hard I try the higher I get the harder I fall
What is to become of a soul with no gift, a heart with no beat
But lies and deception flaunted at your feet

With My eyes wide shut and my arms clutched at my side
My nighmares a reality and my shadows my pride
I turn to hope and practice faith to pray
That at that moment for at least one day
I can imagine the one to come and rescue
The light in the dark, Justice proud and true

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
