    Poem Commentary

    This poem was written for my first born. The highlight of my life being a mommy.

    To My Angel

     The tears were of no shame
    silence to the season
    Pain was of no essence
    just cause and the reason
    Light filled a void
    where dark once remained
    Giving sorrow with joy
    a life was obtained
    Having seen past despair
    making way for a new
    Offering my soul
    and cheishing you
    I now understand
    Having held you next to me
    What a mother is
    and is suppose to be
    So no promises denied
    none have been made
    But mommy am I
    and my love does not fade
