Tears of Mother

Tears of Mother

With hands so small and hearts so big, Your smiles warms where the cold sets in

The reasons I strive are the same as why I cry, If only to find you home so the healing can begin

Left with no choices a burden was made, Now the price I pay is what your innocence will take

I am but a shell of what I used be, my soul is no more and my tears now a lake

I pray the dawn finds you with me, for my daughters are you and your Mommy am I

God gave you to me and the pain is strong but He will bring you back and no more will we cry
