     The older we get,
    The more time that goes by,
    The longer we replay our memories,
    All to remember who we are,
    And why we are still here.
    But the younger we are,
    The more we wish we could be older,
    To have more memories to charish,
    More choices for us to make,
    More freedom to live,
    Never realizing that we are only here,
    For a short amount of time,
    The only time we have.
    We live as we see fit,
    Picking and choosing,
    Learning from our mistakes,
    And enjoying our wins,
    This game of life.
    We the players,
    No matter our age,
    Always learn one important lesson as time goes on,
    The one that lives true,
    And makes life worth living.
    The final lesson that all bare,
    All remember,
    The one that counts.
    That lesson,
    Is that no matter how much time has passed,
    No matter how much advancement in science,
    Or how determined we are to cheat the laws of nature,
    We parish.

    what i have been trying to understand my whole life. we , as humans, naturally want to be older. then, when we get older, we naturally want to be younger. why cant we just be comfortable where we are insterad of always wanting what we dont have? anyways, very good write, with a very good point. keep writing :)
