    My Inner Rage

    A cage,
    filled with rage,
    can't let it out,
    and roam about,
    it will tear you down,
    throw you to the ground,
    laugh in your face,
and tell you you're a disgrace,
    then stomp on your head,
    and leave you for dead,
    this is the feeling inside,
that I force myself to hide,
    to protect everyone,
    of what I've become,
    a monster that kills,
    for its own good will.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
