Poem Commentary

It may be silly, but it's true, love makes the world go around!

My Search

I have something broken, so right from the start,
I won't be soft spoken, it's my broken heart.
Some evenings I gaze up at evening sky,
And see that my life is so fast passing by.

If I had a man as clever as you,
I would not have the problems as you know that I do,
My heart would be mended and made look brand new,
So here is my offer that I will make you.

If something should click under full moon and stars,
If there were a match made in heaven by far,
There would not be sorrow and would not be lack,
For any good thing, for I'd cover your back.

But while I am musing my thoughts for today,
We could be tumbling around in soft hay,
If you're Mr. Right, then it's plain to see,
No more will I search for the right man for me!
