    Now that you are gone,
    The world is a different place now.
    I am different now, too.
    I am a a changed person now.
    I am a better person from knowing you.

    To tell the truth now,
    The world is a colder place now.
    Lights don't shine as brightly now.
    Lights don't even shine at all now.
    Your street isn't main street anymore.

    It seems we were together so long ago,
    But was it really so long ago?
    With time comes changes,
    With time comes life's stages.
    Maybe time finally caught up with us.

    The sun will rise again, like it always does.
    People will open up for business like they always do.
    But it's hard to find reasons to get up today.
    It's hard to find reasons to stay now.
    Life just seems harder without you now.

    Now that you are gone,
    The world seems a bigger place now.
    But I am a bigger person too.
    My heart is bigger now, my mind is bigger too.
    It's all because of what I shared with you.
