    PEMDAS

     You've enclosed me in this parenthesis of your complex equation
    And I got this exponential cloud hovering over my left side afar
    That's gotta be you...
    Me trapped unable to reach you for a simpler progression in this process of solution


    The intensity just keeps on multiplying frying my brain
    Something's gotta give
    A part divided - one less step
    But there you go adding another


    You pulled me along for the final round
    To finally get your answer by subtracting one
    Now I hope you're satisfied
    You passed


    I'm not sure how hard that may or may not have been for you
    But now you're free to move to your next problem
    Be careful how you form your next equation
    And may this time your solution be positive
