Strolling along reality avenue
Amazed at the sights your eyes come to view
So many warning signs that you see
On the avenue of reality

Signs of many colors bright
But you must view them through shades of insight
The signs are the people you may meet
Also strolling along Reality street

Some are in a hurry and never seem to stop
While others walk along with countenance dropped
Yet some walk along the cobblestones joyfully
Of the avenue of reality

Their eyes shopping for bargains galore
In the windows of many a reality store
But most items that meet the eye
The price to own them seem way too high

The food for thought can be quite nutritious
The aromas emanating from the mind’s café… delicious
So many things to experience and do
While walking along reality avenue

The hills and valleys as you make your way
Along reality avenue to life’s expressway
Can sometimes become gridlocked with high emotion
From high indifference to extreme devotion

And each new day brings a change
From the familiar to the strange
Enhancing the traveling you do
