     You stand before me
    And not for the first time.
    With her hand to your lips
    You remind me you won't be mine.

    For a second I remember
    Something you didn't say.
    A love and a life
    From some other day.

    I love how we talked.
    You made me feel that way.
    I walk by and for once
    I can't look through.
